Deny PHILADELPHIA Collegiate Charter school revised application

Good evening. Welcome Rebecca and Armando as new Student Representatives.

The Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys is grades 4 to 8 so why not expand this already existing school instead of creating an expansion school in Philadelphia? Are there no kindergarten to third grade and ninth to twelfth grade students in Baltimore interested in enrolling?

The Philadelphia School District cannot afford any more charter schools. Doing so would strip existing schools of necessary resources. The applicant used a public relations firm to reach out to community organizations for support. Their consultant sent a letter referencing the SRC instead of the Boardthus displaying again  how little this applicant understands and knows about the District.

I urge you to deny this revised application.
